Vaccine Information
Which travel vaccinations do you need?
Canadian Travel Clinics can administer travel vaccinations to protect your health no matter what destination you are heading to.
Your travel health regime will depend not only on your destination but also on your travel plans, your medical history and the activities you want to undertake. Nurses at our travel health clinics will take a full history and discuss your plans so that they can recommend a set of travel injections.
We offer 30-minute same-day consultation appointments and we do this so that our nurses can fully understand your travel and vaccination requirements. We also offer same-day appointments! If you have complex travel plans (for example, you are visiting more than one country) then ask for a double appointment to be scheduled at no extra cost.
Entry requirements
Does your destination have entry requirements? For example, border officials may need to see a yellow fever certificate before entering a country. Our travel health clinics are designated yellow fever centres and can issue a certificate of immunity. Canadian Travel Clinics can also provide certificates of vaccination against meningococcal meningitis.
Anti-malarials
Do you need malaria prophylaxis? Canadian Travel Clinics can provide you with the tablets and the advice you need to avoid this deadly mosquito-borne disease. Our advisers can also tell you what you need to do to avoid other mosquito-borne fevers such as chikungunya and dengue fever.
Can I get vaccinated for a last-minute trip?
Are you leaving very soon? We can help. Canadian Travel Clinics’ experts generally recommend that you get your shots done six to eight weeks before you leave, but we can still help with a last-minute trip.
Make a same-day appointment now and set your mind at rest.
